Does Your Pet Need Emergency Care?

If your pet is exhibiting any of the following symptoms or conditions, you should seek emergency care immediately:

  • Trauma (i.e., hit by a car, a wound, laceration)
  • Respiratory difficulties (i.e., choking, labored breathing)
  • Bleeding
  • Ingestion of a foreign body or poison
  • Continued vomiting or diarrhea
  • Painful urination or elimination

After–hours emergencies are referred to Animal Emergency Clinic of North Alabama and Veterinary Regional Referral Hospital. Please call ahead to inform them of your veterinary emergency.
